I have a student licence for RFEM 6 and I am trying to use the Dlubal API II from Python.\*

What I have already checked: the Python client `dlubal.api` 2.16.5 is installed; in RFEM, Options → Program Options → API Service & Webservice, the option "Dlubal API | gRPC" is enabled and SSL is disabled; the gRPC server port is 9000 (both initial and used); I created an API key in the Extranet (My API Keys), it is saved and marked Active; RFEM was restarted after creating the key.\*

Every connection attempt fails with: `gRPC connection check failed (UNAUTHENTICATED) for '127.0.0.1:9000'. Original gRPC details: The API key is either missing or invalid. Access to the API is denied.`\*

Could you please enable the API Service for my account? User ID 379072, Company ID 218199.

Thank you.

Hi up198701707,

the free API plan can take a few minutes to activate. It should be working for you now.

Best regards,
