GUI interference when using other applications during analysis

Situation: In RFEM6.12.007, and on Windows 11, I run the analysis.

Problems

  1. The RFEM application window keeps focusing in and out, that is, it keeps going to the background and foreground.

  2. As shown in the video below, it prevents the use of any other application by repeatedly taking other applications out of focus (visible flashing of window banners in the video), to the point where even typing becomes impossible.

I tried the same thing on my computer. The problem did not occur (see video). Therefore, I assume that there is a local problem on your computer.

Try restarting your computer and then testing the problem again.

If that doesn't help, check to see if there are any plugins installed for Windows Explorer that could be causing the problem.

I installed a newer version 6.12.0010, and this problem is doesn't seem to be happening anymore :crossed_fingers:
