According to calculations, RFEM 6 crashes without an error message when attempting to save.
"Save as" + new filename causes the program to crash without an error message (when "Creating preview" is displayed in the corner)
"Save as" + new filename + checkmark at "Preview from current view" works
Unfortunately, I cannot upload the error report due to the file format.
How can this program behavior be explained and fixed?

first of all, a warm welcome to our community.
I suspect that the problem could be related to the graphics card driver. Here you will find some hints on how you might fix the problem:

Most likely, updating the graphics driver will resolve the issue.
Background: When saving a file, a preview image of the RFEM model is created, which is embedded in the file and also visible in the Windows Explorer. The graphics driver (OpenGL) is used to generate the graphic.
