How can I create a weld between the horizontal member and the plate?

You probably wonder why you are not able to define a weld between the rounded corners and the plate. This is because of the gap between the two objects. We are working on a solution for this.
In the current state, there are the following options:

Weld the lower flange of the horizontal beam without the roundings:

Use a rectangular cross-section without radii from the library.
