RFEM6: how to model bent rebars in slab to resist punching?

Hi,

I am designing a slab sitting on piles. To resist punching shear, I would like to model longitudinal rebars that resist positive bending between the piles, and divert diagonally upwards near the piles to:

  1. resist punching shear with their diagonal part, and
  2. resist negative moment when they continue on the top surface of the slab.

I have encircled what I need in the image. Is there a way to achieve this in RFEM 6?

thank you for your question!
At the moment, it’s not possible to model curved reinforcement bars in the software.
The punching reinforcement must be defined manually at the node. Unfortunately, this cannot be represented via a surface reinforcement.
