I followed the instructions and ran Enable Software Renderer.cmd. After that, RSTAB 9 kept crashing at 9% (during visualization). Now I started it without the MESA Software Renderer, and the program no longer crashes.
Do I now have certain limitations, or will this otherwise lead to problems?
For running RSTAB 9 under a current version of Parallels Desktop, no MESA renderer is necessary. Especially on the Mac with ARM processor, I advise against it because the MESA renderer consumes a lot of computing power.
RSTAB runs smoothly under Parallels Desktop. Sometimes there are minor issues with the display of nodes.
I usually use RFEM and RSTAB in Coherence Mode. That works very well.
If you use the Dlubal Center, I recommend switching to full-screen mode.
In general, it is advisable to connect a mouse for operating RSTAB. Operation with the touchpad is not well suited for RSTAB and RFEM.
Let me know if problems occur while working on the Mac. I have been working on a MacBook with RFEM and RSTAB for several years and therefore have some experience with it.
