Hello, I am currently writing my bachelor's thesis and working with RSTAB 8. I have modeled a bridge and my professor would like to view or open this file on a university PC. Unfortunately, this is not possible, even with the full version. It is very urgent. How can this problem be resolved? Is it also correct that the student version is only available for 90 days?

You can request the student version via this form on our website. It can be extended at any time after expiration, provided you can present a valid enrollment certificate. The 90-day limitation therefore does not apply to the student license.
If your professor at the university is working with a full version, it should generally be possible to open the model.
Can you describe more precisely which warning or error message is displayed when opening the model? A screenshot or the exact wording of the message would also help us. This way we can narrow down the problem more effectively.

This error message occurs when it is opened with a full version.
Judging by the error message, the license issue lies with your computer or the computer on which the model was created.
I assume that you are currently only using a demo version. In this case, please apply for your student version using the previously linked form.
As soon as you have the student version, you should be able to open the model on your computer and save it again. The file should then also be able to be opened on other computers.
