Regarding the usage of the GeoZoneTool as a student, this is normally not supported from our side, because we don't see a use case for it. If you'd like, you can tell me more about your use case so I can better understand your needs.

I guess you don't need to do it several times, or am I wrong? You can use i for your current project via the UI, this should give you the right values.

For this particular student project, i was given a building with varying roof pitches at different locations to see how the roof construction and the structural requirements would change. Manually looking up the wind and snow loads on each location would be quite tedious, using an API will help me automate this.
