Currently, I believe it is not possible to control Baubuche GL75 via the API. I created a beam with the corresponding material in a test project and then exported the project as a Python file. In the .py file, Baubuche is specified as "Baubuche GL75 Beam | Pollmeier". If this exact exported file is imported back into RFEM, the material is not assigned correctly (see screenshot). I have also attached the project file and the Python export.
Hello Niklas,
I was unfortunately not able to reproduce the problem in the current customer version. I was able to import your Python file and the material was assigned correctly.
after uninstalling and reinstalling everything again and it still not working, I tried different material names.
With "Baubuche GL75 Träger," RFEM recognizes the material for me. Maybe the language during the RFEM installation plays a role here. I can't explain it any other way...
You seem to be using RFEM in English, and for you, the import of my file with the English material name also works.
At least the import is now working, and the problem is initially resolved!
You are right, it is indeed due to the programming language. I will forward the problem in the German programming environment directly to our developers.
