Do I need RWIND3 to consider ice flags in RFEM6?

Hello,

I would like to consider the cross-sectional expansion due to ice adhesion in the calculation of a truss.
I have already found the cross-sectional expansion.

However, do I need RWIND for the consideration of wind analysis with ice accretion?
Or does RWIND activate the Windsimulation add-on for me?

Yes, to perform a wind simulation, you need RWIND. Once you have installed it, it will also be available in RFEM.

If you know the ratio of the extended cross-section to the normal cross-section, you could possibly simplify by increasing the nominal wind load by this factor.
