Hello,
I cannot run Timber Design for a curved glulam member with a tapered cross-section. RFEM shows the error “Curved tapered member is not supported for design (ER1201). Only curved members with uniform section are allowed.”
Can you please confirm if there is any workaround or if this feature will be supported in upcoming updates?

thank you very much for your message.
Currently, for curved glued laminated timber components with tapered cross-sections, only the static calculation is possible. A design of these components is not yet supported. The topic is already known in development, and I am happy to take your suggestion as an additional customer request.

Great news! 
You can now perform design for curved glulam members with tapered cross-sections in Timber Design. The feature is implemented, and you should be able to run your designs as expected. 
The only limitation remaining is the design check 6.4.2 – Bending at cut wood fibers (km,α), which is still not supported. Apart from that, everything else should work smoothly. You can easily do this design check by hand with the given values in the programm.
