I’d like to suggest adding support for defining and reading model grids in the RFEM API.
This could enhance workflows in both the Tekla–Dlubal interface, where aligning grids is important, and in Python scripting for RFEM 6, where having programmatic control over grid layout would help automate and structure models more consistently.
Unfortunately, guidelines are not yet supported in the current version 2.11.7 of the API (gRPC). We agree that this would be a useful feature, and I’ve forwarded your request to our development team.
