I have been using RFEM 6 for my studies for some time now, and I find it to be an excellent tool for structural analysis. However, I am having trouble finding comprehensive, up-to-date manuals that explain the various functions within RFEM and its add-ons, such as Concrete Design and Steel Design.
I often find myself spending hours trying to understand the different tabs and settings, and the specific implications of selecting certain options. For example, I have recently been searching for detailed information regarding the parameters within the long-term deflection options, but I haven't been able to find anything current. Most of the manuals I encounter seem to be for older versions and are now obsolete.
Does anyone have a recommendation for where to find updated documentation or technical deep-dives for these settings? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for your quick response and for sharing those links. They are very helpful.
Regarding the first point: I checked the Knowledge Base article, but I noticed that the example model used in the tutorial is not available for download. Is there any way I can get a copy of that specific file to follow along with the steps?
Regarding the second point: Where can I find the most up-to-date full manuals for RFEM 6, the Concrete Design add-on, and the Steel Design add-on? I want to make sure Iām always looking at the latest documentation available.
Also, I noticed that the example provided uses Eurocode. Since I am currently working with US Codes (ACI 318), do you have any similar examples, technical articles, or models specifically tailored to the American standards?
You can find the user manuals here and they are continuously updated :
I also recommend using the search bar on our website to quickly find specific topics. It helps you find relevant knowledge base articles, FAQs, and other helpful resources in one place.
