Elastically supported base plate with different bedding areas

Hello,

is there a possibility to define multiple bedding areas on one surface (base slab)? I would like to apply the double bedding modulus according to Dörken and Dehne at the edge area of the base slab, as described in the Knowledge Base under 001400.

Since the base slab has few symmetries, a function like indentation would be helpful.

Hello Johannes,

I’m sorry but that is not possible. You can assign only one type of surface support to one surface. If you want to have different types of surface support with in one plane, you need to split your surface and assign different surface support types.

Hello Thomas,

thank you for the feedback. I have now gone the route of defining two surfaces with different bedding modules. The function "New parallel line with offset" was very helpful for me here.
