Result cuts and evaluation of line supports

Hello,

I am currently a student and am working with RFEM 6 as part of my bachelor's thesis. In this process, I need to design a reinforced concrete slab using the finite element method.

Basically, the processing has been going well so far, but I have a problem with the result cuts in the results presentation. When I display the results via a result cut, the cut length should actually be about 20 m. However, in the presentation, scales or lengths of e.g. 36 m, 40 m, or clearly deviating values partly appear. The cuts also appear partly different or not as they were actually entered in the graphical representation.

To clarify, I have attached two images: The first image shows the result cut with the course of (m_y). Here you can see the deviating or incorrect scaling of the cut length. In the second image, I am directly in the result graphic and display the course graphically. Here the course appears as it should in my opinion also be displayed in the result cut. However, it is displayed quite differently in the result cut.

Therefore, I wanted to ask whether this could possibly be a display, setting, or input error and how to solve this problem.

Additionally, I have a question regarding line supports: Is it possible in RFEM 6 to display the resultant total force in addition to the course of the support reactions for a line support? So far I only see the course along the line support, but I would like to output the resultant force of the respective line support.

Thank you very much in advance.

Kind regards

Hi Dilschad,

Thank you for your message! Unfortunately, no images were attached.

To analyze the problem more precisely, the model file would be very helpful. Please also specify which cut it concerns.

You can display the output via the "Info":

Hello,

I tried to upload the file and have already reduced it as you suggested. Unfortunately, it is still too large and the upload does not work.

Is there perhaps an alternative way for me to send you the file?

Kind regards

You can use any "file transfer service" and send me the link. Alternatively, simply delete all unnecessary parts from the structure that are not needed to view the results.
