May be it's default for FEA software that it does not give warnings for things like absence of corner reinforcement for slabs to prevent diagonal cracks.
However, RFEM does seems to follow the Eurocode standards. Then why it does not check for absence of corner reinforcement?
Further, I noticed even if I put single reinforcement net (bottom net) for the slab, it apparently doesn't even care the hogging moments at near the beams as slab is monolithically connected to the beam. It's not simply supported so it should be able to understand that I didn't put hogging reinforcement.
It seems like it will pass the reinforcement design even without checking those critical things.
Is there any way to put corner reinforcement and hogging reinforcement in addition to the reinforcement I have put as a surface? (I noticed I can put a top reinforcement net, but that would apply to the whole slab, I just want to add it to where the hogging moments will occur to make it bit economical)
And how to make the software check for things like missing corner reinforcement? and hogging reinforcement?
Is there any auto design feature to generate necessary reinforcement for the slab?
