Problem importing a custom accelerogram from Excel into RSTAB

Hello everyone,

I am trying to import a custom accelerogram from an Excel file into RSTAB 9.13.0001, but unfortunately without success.

I have created an Excel table with real time-acceleration values (time t and acceleration a_x​). However, when importing via the function
"Import table data from spreadsheet"
the following error message appears:

"The worksheet '' was not found."

The file is saved as *.xlsx.
The worksheet is named "Zeiten & Beschleunigungen" (Times & Accelerations).
The structure corresponds to the template exported by RSTAB (columns: No., Time, ax, ay, az).

For verification, I manually entered the first five values directly in RSTAB and then generated an Excel file using the export function. Even this file generated by RSTAB cannot be successfully imported again.

I would appreciate any hints, as I need the accelerogram for my master's thesis.

Hi GleBooBIM,

I have already initiated an improvement to the program. In the meantime, the accelerogram can be pasted into the RSTAB table from Excel via Copy & Paste (Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V) (see video).

Thank you very much for your support and the quick feedback.

The import of the accelerogram actually worked exactly in the way you described and showed – by copy & paste (Ctrl+C / Ctrl+V) directly from Excel into the RSTAB table. This allowed me to easily transfer and further process the data.
