Interface of Tekla-RFEM6 on different PC's

Dear Comminity

In our company we`re starting a new project of a steel structure where our client already have a Tekla model with the structure.

We want to use the interface of Tekla-RFEM6 in order to be able to import in RFEM6 the central lines of the profiles that are already created in the Tekla model.

The thing is, the Tekla licence and model is in my client´s computer and the RFEM license is in my computer. Is it stil possible to get the interface in this condicions? If not, what can you sugest as the best alternative?

Hi joao.vaz_jvStruct,

The direct interface between Tekla and RFEM 6 requires both applications to be open on the same PC.
In your case, you can use the DSTV format for data exchange.
