Load transfer surface is deleted when defining lines are merged

Situation: In RFEM6.12.0007, I have a load transfer surface, that transfers load to many members, including members that form its boudnary.

Problem: When I merge any of the members on the boundary, the load transfer surface gets deleted, as described in the image. This happens silently, with no warnings.

Question: is this is a bug, or a feature? if a feature, how to change the settings so that the load transfer surface understands the merger of its boundary lines and continues to exist.

Hi, I fear I need your file. I am not able to reproduce it:

Hi,

Thank you for your reply.

I can't share the model, due to project limits.

I tried to show what happens in the video below.

could you please remove all unnecessary elements and send me the file in a private message?

I guess I found the problem: the node being removed was set in the surface window to be excluded from the influence of the surface. When I removed the node from that list, and then merged the boundary lines, the surface didn't vanish.

Great that you found a workaround. But it

works as expected on my example. To improve it, I need a file.
