When will MIA provide meaningful answers and be able to clearly distinguish between RFEM5 and RFEM6?
Hi Flo6000,
Thank you for your feedback; we are constantly working on improving Mia, that is, to make Mia as intelligent and intuitive as possible ![]()
The quality of the results depends on the accuracy of the prompt. A small optimization of your prompt produces the correct result:
Feel free to also check out our FAQ on Mia Prompting.
Best regards

It is not the prompt that needs to be optimized, but the algorithm behind the MIA. It has hardly improved since its release.
Hello Flo6000,
perhaps a few background information on the issue.
Mia's "knowledge" is mainly based on the FAQ articles and the knowledge base contributions on our website. A large portion of these articles was created before the release of RFEM 6. Therefore, the texts often do not clearly indicate whether the article refers to RFEM 5 or RFEM 6. This causes some difficulties for Mia.
We have been working on this problem for some time and are revising all articles. This not only helps Mia but also the regular visitors of the website. However, this is a lot of work. In the medium term, we are also working on improving the technology behind Mia.
Currently, we are working with an external service that has certain limitations. We have been experimenting with other options for some time.
In general, the results of generative AI should always be viewed critically, whether they come from Mia or another AI. The hints that @soeren.omieczynski linked will help you get better results. If answers seem strange to you, then ask follow-up questions. You can also have Mia provide the sources for her statements.
Best regards
Frank
Hello Frank,
have you tried the link to the first offered source? It leads to the chapter Extranet, so very helpful on the topic of "bending stress line."
That is exactly the problem and would actually be solvable, if desired. "Versioning"
It is better to write an FAQ explaining how to "ask" MIA. A great approach to problem-solving.
Best regards
Flo
Unfortunately, this is becoming unprofessional.
I would like to point you to our tips on the question How to Get Quick & Helpful Answers and the general FAQ of our Community.
Thank you very much
At what point am I being unobjective? I am simply offering constructive criticism.
But this is also one way to end the topic.
Who knows, maybe the best thing is to delete uncomfortable topics from the “community” or block users like me..
