In the diagram below, where wallA Carry the slab only by vertical shear force, to model this, will i apply release only on the lineA like applying line release on lineA for vertical shear force or is there a need to apply release at the node like applying nodal release on node A1 and A2 for vertical shear force

normally there is no need of releasing these nodes. I have tested a simple structure and it looks like there is a problem. I will take care about this problem.

Based on my experience, the Picard Solver tends to be more stable when dealing with nonlinear line releases and nonlinear line hinges with just one or very few load steps. If you increase the load steps while using the Newton-Raphson method, it should work as well. With Picard, it works already with one load step. A nodal release it not necesarry.
