STEICO I Joist beam

Hello,

I have a project with I-beams from STEICO (STEICOjoist) and I would like to be able to size them according to the criteria of my building (deflection limits, number of supports, etc.) but I'm not quite sure how to go about it. Is there a simple way to do this, or any documentation on how to do it?

Best regards,
Massimo

The stiffness and strength values can be found in tabular form in the respective ETA.

You can define the stiffnesses using the member type “Definable Stiffness” in RFEM. This allows you to directly assign custom stiffness properties to the element.

For the design, you can use our Components add-on. To do so, the required data first needs to be properly entered and assigned within the model.
