Cross-sectional optimization through steel design via Dlubal API

Good day!

I would like to use the cross-section optimization of the steel design module of RFEM 6 via the Dlubal API.

The tooltip suggests that this property can be set directly during the cross-section creation via addon_object_replacement. Unfortunately, I cannot find any documentation on this and therefore suspect that it is not yet available.

I would appreciate any information.

Hi jbo-puls,

the optimization has not yet been implemented as you suspected. But via the API you can easily run a loop and build your own "optimization". I think you can quickly achieve the desired result with little effort.

I have added you to the list of requesters for this feature in the API, I hope this is of interest to you. Should there be any news on this topic, we will spread them through the known channels.
