Problems with RSTAB 9 over Parallels on the MacBook

Hello everyone,

I have been using RStab9 on my MacBook via Parallels for quite some time now. Recently, I have been having the problem that when I want to display the loads, they are initially shown only by individual arrows and not as the specified surface load, and then the program crashes shortly afterwards. Has anyone had similar experiences or knows what might be causing this?

Thank you very much!

Hello,

nice to welcome you to the community.

Please first check if you are using the current version of Parallels Desktop:

There were some issues with OpenGL support a few versions ago, which have now been resolved.

If Parallels Desktop is up to date, please send me the RSTAB file where the problem occurs. You can either post it publicly here or send it to me in a private message.

Two more questions:

  1. Am I correct in assuming that no crash report from RSTAB is displayed during the crash?
  2. Have you enabled the Mesa renderer?

Best regards
Frank

Hello,

I have the current version of Parallels. It always just shows the crash report from Parallels. The Mesa Renderer should be disabled via Disable Software Renderer in the Explorer. The project is still very small because I can't proceed beyond the load input. How can I best send you the file?

Thank you very much for your efforts!

The best way is to upload the file directly in a reply here in the thread.

If you don't want to do that, you can also send me a private message. To do this, click on my name and then on Message.

Please provide me with a brief description of how I can reproduce the crash.

Frank
