Hello,
I am trying to extract the stresses induced by restrained shrinkage at specific time steps (t = 30 days, t = 10,000 days, t = 36,500 days, etc.). and The second goal of this study is to assess the additional reinforcement required in reinforced concrete structures exceeding the standard expansion joint spacing recommended by codes and engineering practice — typically 30 m, 40 m, 50 m, or more — where construction or architectural constraints prevent the use of movement joints.
I have successfully set up the material properties and configured the non-linear time-dependent analysis (creep and shrinkage), but I am struggling to isolate the stress resultants attributable solely to the restrained shrinkage load case — independently from other load combinations.
Could you advise on the correct workflow to extract shrinkage-induced stresses as a standalone result in RFEM 6?
Thank you in advance for your help.
