Hello everyone,
is it possible in RFEM 6 to output the longitudinal stresses of a beam element at specific stress points in the cross-section (e.g., at the top and bottom edges of the cross-section) along the length of the component?
Thank you very much
Regards
Hi Thomas 1
,
the following manual entry describes in detail how to output the stresses over the cross-section using the Stress-Strain Calculation Add-On:
https://www.dlubal.com/de/downloads-und-infos/dokumente/online-handbuecher/rfem-6-spannungs-dehnungs-berechnung/000522
Currently, it is not possible to select a single stress point and output the associated stresses in a table. However, the maximum stresses can be output in tabular form and the values can be manually read for the cross-sections (see manual).
Additionally, the stress distribution can be graphically rendered. The option "Profile Sections" helps to clearly display the design values.

Best regards
Eike
