Hi everyone,
we're currently experiencing problems with our Geo Zone Service due to security updates in a Google service, requiring adjustments to our system.
Our team is still testing and reviewing the system. Some earthquake data may be affected, and results may differ from the previous version due to backend changes. We're working to resolve these issues as quickly as possible.
We're sorry for the inconvenience and will keep this post updated as soon as we have more information. If you have any concerns or notice any issues, please contact our support team via email.
Thank you for your patience
Everything is back up and running. In case you experience ongoing problems, please let us know. The following changes were applied:
CSV Formatting
Fields containing commas (e.g. city names, street names) are now properly quoted to ensure correct CSV parsing. This prevents column shifting issues when commas appear inside values (e.g. "Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole").
Special Character Handling
Values are now consistently returned using actual characters instead of HTML entities to ensure consistency across all load zones.
Example: > 40 → > 40
Handling of N/A Values
Non-applicable values (e.g. Result 2 for certain maps) were standardized to align with previous versions and improve parser compatibility. Units are no longer appended to N/A values.
Example: N/A kN/m² → N/A
Map Updates
The Sweden maps were updated to ensure consistency with other load zones and correct data formatting.
