When comparing the ultimate moment capacity under a specific axial force for the same cross-section using RFEM and Eurocode Applied.com, it was found that RFEM's results are highly sensitive to the amount of reinforcement, with differences between different reinforcement configurations approaching or even exceeding 100%. However, the differences on Eurocode Applied.com are around 10% to 20%. Which of these two calculation results is correct?
Hi gork_11,
can you tell me which software you used for the comparison?
Hi gork_11,
the problem in RFEM 6 is that in our interaction diagram the diagram areas are currently divided too little, resulting in non-determined values being interpolated and we do not achieve the expected results. I have informed the concrete development about this.
