When I use the wall–slab linear connection from the masonry design add-on, a new result section appears (see the figure below). If I understand correctly, this shows the applied vertical force (ny), the vertical bearing capacity (nR), and some utilization factor (eta), but I haven’t found any documentation on this. Where does the bearing capacity value (nR) come from, and what does it mean for my design if the program cannot calculate the bearing capacity or if the utilization factor exceeds 1.0, could this introduce errors into the calculation?

These results are leftovers from an earlier implementation, when the material model and the hinge were still not able to correctly represent the stresses. You do not need to evaluate or verify these values anymore.
We are also considering removing them completely in a future update.
