Time step analysis: setting time steps

Dear Dlubal team,

I am currently analyzing a railway bridge using RFEM6 with a time step analysis. Since my bridge is very long and I want to examine relatively small time steps, I receive the error message "Newmark - the number of time function is over limit 999."
Is it possible to increase this setting somewhere? I would prefer a long computation time rather than fewer time steps.
For your information: this involves a load case combination with 1271 load cases and the same time history. t_max is 70s and the step size delta t is 0.013s.

Best regards,
Philomena Miklos

Hello Philomena and welcome to the Dlubal Community :tada:

Currently, there is an internal program limitation in the time history analysis in RFEM 6: a maximum of 999 load cases with time diagrams can be considered. This limit cannot currently be increased through a setting in the program.

We are aware that this limitation can be restrictive, and we will review the matter internally.

Best regards
