In order to properly evaluate my model regarding the weld seams via the API, I wanted to analyze my result sections and their resultants analogously to the procedure of the connection addon.
Unfortunately, I have not found a way to directly access the resultant forces of the result sections using get_results.
Currently, the only option I can think of is either to average all the nodal forces of the surface and divide by the corresponding widths or to model result bars into the surfaces and ultimately verify using the averaged section forces of the result bar. Both methods would be relatively complex and would first need to be tested for reliability in various test models before they can be integrated into my large "main code." Therefore, I would be very relieved if there were somehow a way to directly access the resultants of the result sections.
