Geo-Zone API returning 'ERROR: Predicated failed'

Hello Dlubal Support Team,

We are currently using the Geo-Zone web service endpoint, to obtain wind and snow load zones for AS/NZS standards.

Our integration worked correctly until 7 March 2026, but since 10 March 2026 all map queries fail with the following error:

ERROR: Predicated failed

Example request (credentials masked):

https://external-crm.dlubal.com/loadzones/data.aspx?map=wind-as-1170-2:2021&position=-37.8152065,144.963937&language=en&login=XXXXX&hash=XXXXX

We also tested:

  • place= queries
  • position= queries

Both return the same error.

However, the endpoint itself appears to be reachable because the following request works and returns the available request count:

https://external-crm.dlubal.com/loadzones/data.aspx?availablerequests=1&login=XXXXX&hash=XXXXX

Additionally, when testing through the API/browser evaluation flow, the underlying error reported is:

ERROR: Evaluation failed: TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'getPosition') at pointMarker_getPosition_lat () at puppeteer_evaluation_script:1:82

This suggests there may be an issue in the Geo-Zone backend evaluation logic.

Could you please confirm:

  1. Whether there was a recent change to the Geo-Zone service around 7–9 March 2026.
  2. Whether the loadzones/data.aspx endpoint is still supported.
  3. If there is a new endpoint or API we should migrate to for Geo-Zone queries.

Thank you for your assistance.

Kind regards,
Meha Jain

Thank you for your detailed report.

The issue you described was related to a temporary problem within the Geo-Zone backend service that occurred during that time frame. This has already been investigated and resolved in the meantime.

We have already clarified the details directly via email, and the issue has been resolved.

The endpoint loadzones/data.aspx remains supported and no migration to a new endpoint is required.

If you are still experiencing any issues, please feel free to reach out again with specific examples. You can find some details about this instance in the following post:
